The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced a new Cybersecurity Pilot Program, providing schools and libraries with $200 million in funding to safeguard their networks against cyber threats. This pilot program offers a unique opportunity for educational institutions to strengthen their cybersecurity defenses without any prior E-Rate participation. The FCC is looking to include a diverse range of schools and libraries. Successful applicants will have access to funding for essential cybersecurity tools, such as advanced firewalls, endpoint protection, identity protection, technical system support, equipment, software, and ongoing maintenance.

Program Duration: Three years of participation from a single application
